Pinecrest Lake Resort is located in beautiful Pinecrest, California just steps from the shores of Pinecrest Lake in the midst of The Stanislaus National Forest. Fishing, boating, hiking, kayaking, and many more activities await you. Come visit the area where you can fish in over 800 miles of lakes, rivers and streams, stay in one of our cabins, motel rooms or townhouses and spend your days lounging on the shores of Pinecrest Lake, take time to play a game or two on our championship tennis courts, or hike into the backcountry seeking pristine solitude. You can swim near a sandy beach or wade into cold clear water of Pinecrest Lake cooling your feet while lost in the beauty of nature, or rent a boat on Pinecrest Lake and spend the day with your whole family.

During the summer months fishing takes center stage in Pinecrest. Stocked with rainbow trout on a weekly basis Pinecrest Lake is sure to please any angler. The Pinecrest Lake Marina offers boat rentals to suit your pleasure and tackle on your way out on the water.

During the spring, summer and fall be sure to take the time to see new areas of our wilderness by going Horseback Riding: Aspen Meadows offers horses and pack mules, ideally suited to carry you and your gear over any terrain.  The horses are matched to your ability, whether you are a novice or a seasoned rider.  Each pack mule can carry up to 150 pounds of gear – so you don’t have to! Kennedy Meadows is a long-established Resort & Pack Station. The old-time Last Chance Saloon, horseback riding and quality hunting and fishing.

Pinecrest Theater: The Pinecrest Theater is located at Pinecrest Lake and plays outdoor movies from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Just four miles from Pinecrest Lake Resort, Dodge Ridge Ski Area offers a vertical drop of 1,600 feet, with a summit elevation of 6,600 feet, all over a mountainous terrain of 815 acres. There are 12 lifts leading to 59 runs – 20% beginner runs, 40% intermediate runs, and 40% advanced runs. The longest run, Stagecoach, is 2 miles long. There are also 5 freestyle terrain parks plus a half pipe.  Leland High Sierra Snow Play is just seven miles away and offers the perfect family environment for sledding and tubing.

Ready to celebrate or have a large family? We feature two sizes of pontoon boats; the ten-passenger Junior or fifteen-passenger Partyboat. Both sizes have a top, providing partial shade and padded bench seating. You are welcome to bring a table, barbeque, ice chests or anything else you may desire. Yes, fishing from partyboats is possible and works well! Reservations strongly recommended.
